Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

HSE Emergency First Aid In The WorkplaceA minimum six-hour programme (one day) for those who wish to gain knowledge of emergency procedures and gain a recognised qualification in First Aid. Where an employer’s assessment of First Aid needs identifies that a three-day First Aid at Work qualification is not necessary, the minimum employers requirement is to appoint a personto take charge of First Aid arrangements. This includes looking after equipment and facilities, and calling emergency services when required. Arrangements should be made for an Appointed Person to be available for these duties at all times when people are at work.
